A fast-acting, solvent-based cleaning agent for rigid PVC pipes and fittings. Formulated to effectively remove dirt, grease and grime on low- and high-pressure rigid pvc piping systems and fittings in preparation for solvent-welding.

NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON: Flexible or Highly-Plasticized PVC.

  1. Please read this product label and refer to the TDS and SDS before use. 
  2. Store and use Stag PVC Cleaner at temperatures below 40°C.
  3. Prepare pipe ends as per the prescribed/specification guidelines.
  4. Soak a cloth or absorbent paper towel in Stag PVC Cleaner. Wipe inside the fitting socket and outside the pipe to the depth of the fitting to remove surface dirt, grease and grime. Note: If absorbent paper is used, a new sheet is required per fitting. 
  5. Allow a minimum of 1 minute to ensure surfaces are dry before joining/bonding pipes and fittings with Stag PVC Weld or an appropriate solvent-based cement. Follow the application instructions. 
  6. Ensure solvent has evaporated from the cloth or absorbent paper towel before disposal in accordance with local laws.

  1. Obtain, read and follow all safety instructions before use. 
  2. Do not use near sources of heat, ignition, open flames or sparks. No smoking, eating or drinking during use. 
  3. Wear eye/face protection, solvent-resistant gloves and suitable protective clothing. 
  4. Use in a well-ventilated area. 
  5. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and skin. 
  6. Do not inhale or breathe fumes and vapours. 
  7. Close container properly and tightly after use. 
  8. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. 
  9. Store locked up in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area and away from all sources of ignition. 10. Keep away from children, untrained persons, pets and food items.

  12. Avoid release into the environment. 
  13. Do not dispose in drains, sewers or waterways. 
  14. Dispose of waste contents and empty containers in accordance with local laws.

  1. If in eyes or on skin, flush immediately with plenty of cold, clean, running water. If irritation occurs/persists, seek medical help. 
  2. If inhaled, remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Seek medical attention. 
  3. If swallowed or ingested, rinse mouth and immediately seek medical help and/or call a poison centre. Do not induce vomiting. 
  4. If exposed or concerned, seek medical advice.
